If you’re reading this, you’re either someone who knows me and my work, someone curious about photography, or someone who simply stumbled upon this blog while wandering through the internet. However you got here, thank you for stopping by — truly.

This blog is something I’ve wanted to create for a long time. As much as I love photography for the visual magic it brings into the world, I also deeply believe in the power of words to bring context, meaning, and emotion to those images. Photography, to me, is more than just taking pictures — it’s storytelling, memory-keeping, connection-building, and soul-searching. And that’s exactly what I want this blog to reflect.

Why This Blog Exists

The vision behind this space is pretty simple, but deeply personal. I wanted a place to share the stories behind the images. Not just the polished final shots you might see on my portfolio or Instagram, but the full journey, the behind-the-scenes moments, the messy middle, the unexpected magic that happens when real people step in front of the lens.

I want this blog to be a living journal of my photography journey… the client sessions that moved me, the creative projects that challenged me, the personal work that keeps my creative fire burning. I’ll share the technical stuff too: things I’ve learned, gear I love, mistakes I’ve made (and what they taught me), plus tips and resources for clients and fellow creatives alike.

I also plan to use this space to reflect on the bigger picture — the “why” behind what I do. Because photography isn’t just about light and composition and timing. It’s about people. Relationships. Emotions. Moments that deserve to be held onto. My work is shaped by the people I meet, the places I go, and the stories I’m invited into, and I want to honor that by writing about it with honesty and heart.
